The Evansville Wartime Museum is now offering rides on a 1943 Chrysler M4A4 Sherman Tank. Evansville's war effort included refurbishing thousands of Sherman Tanks, so this tank is a proud representation of the community's contribution during WWII. Starting April 1, 2023 the Evansville Wartime Museum will be offering rides on the first and third Saturday of the month through October.

The cost of the rides will be $100 per person. Each 30 minute ride will be broken up into three sections. The first section will be covering safety and the history of the Sherman Tank. You will then get to go on a ride of the Sherman tank. Finally you will disembark the tank and get to ask any questions you may have for the tank crew! Each trip can hold four people (with a possibility of five for larger families).
